Artistic Portals and Windows

The ruins often showcase pointed arch doorways and windows, reflecting Persian and European influences. This design is a hallmark of King Narai period architecture, seamlessly blending Thai traditions with Western artistic elements. Delicate stucco moldings, depicting floral motifs or traditional Thai patterns, can still be found on some window frames. These openings not only provided ventilation but also mirrored the era's aesthetic sensibilities and international outlook. Even in their bare brick and laterite form, these structures retain their beauty and exemplify the exceptional craftsmanship of the past.
