Sharp-edged Earth Cliff / Ridge

Sharp-edged earth cliffs or ridges are geological features formed by the vertical erosion of rainwater on steeply sloped sedimentary layers. Unlike the mushroom-shaped pillars, these sharp cliffs typically originate from thicker, more uniform soil layers. Long-term erosion along vertical fissures leaves behind mini-ridges or cliffs with jagged, saw-toothed edges resembling stone castles. This morphology reflects the influence of powerful surface runoff directions in the past.
