Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan)

The cliff-carved Buddha image at Buddha Mountain originated from the vision of transforming a former limestone quarry into a sacred space that reflects spiritual and cultural values. Instead of prioritizing monumental scale, the carving was conceived to express faith in harmony with the natural environment. Laser technology was utilized to define the outline with precision before genuine gold was inlaid along the carved lines. Each phase represents a harmonious blend of modern techniques and traditional Thai spirituality. Consequently, this Buddha image stands as both a religious artwork and a contemporary historical testament embodying devotion, craftsmanship, and respect for nature.
