Lan Chom Dao is a major camping ground and viewpoint within Doi Khun Tan National Park, located on the border of Mae Tha District, Lamphun, and Hang Chat District, Lampang. This spacious flat area is specifically developed for camping, allowing visitors to experience the chilly mountain air and clear night skies filled with stars, away from urban light pollution. The viewpoint offers panoramic vistas of the rolling Khun Tan mountain range and serves as an ideal resting point before trekkers proceed to higher elevations from Yo 1 to Yo 4.
