Phra That Sri Mongkol is a square-shaped pagoda adorned with beautiful contemporary art. Its exterior is decorated with reddish-brown terracotta tiles depicting scenes from the life of Buddha. A prominent Buddha image in a walking posture is enshrined in the front niche. The spire is made of pure gold. It is an important sacred site containing Buddha's relics and is highly revered by the people of Sakon Nakhon.
