Commemorate the legacy of Than Phor Banthoon Singh (born Phum Banthoon Singh), a highly revered lay practitioner known for his strict moral discipline and spiritual attainments. He was a visionary spiritual leader who, guided by profound spiritual visions, spearheaded the establishment of Wat Ketumadee Sri Wararam amidst the open plains, aiming to create a magnificent Buddhist sanctuary. Although he was not ordained as a monk, his exemplary moral life and immense contributions to Buddhism earned him great respect, including being regarded as a younger spiritual peer of the legendary Luang Phor Pan of Wat Bang Nom Kho. Today, his remains are kept in a glass coffin within a dedicated shrine for followers to pay their respects and draw inspiration from his unwavering determination in merit-making.
