Ban Khok Mo Local Weaving Center

Ban Khok Mo is a community with a long history of weaving passed down through generations, particularly famous for its intricate ancient silk patterns like "Taem Takor." This unique style flawlessly combines the arts of Mudmee (ikat) and Jok (discontinuous supplementary weft). The identity of textiles here lies in the use of natural dyes and patterns reflecting the lifestyle and culture of the Lao Krang ethnic group. Visiting this center offers a chance to witness the entire manual process, from cotton spinning and dyeing to exquisite hand-weaving on traditional looms.
