Wat Tham Khao Wong
Wat Tham Khao Wong is a strikingly beautiful temple known for its magnificent four-story Thai-style pavilion constructed almost entirely from teak and mahogany. Situated against a towering limestone cliff, its architecture evokes an ancient Thai manor house standing majestically in a forest setting. A large pond and meticulously landscaped gardens in the foreground provide a stunning reflection of the wooden structure on the water. The temple grounds also include several caves where visitors can hike to observe stalactites and stalagmites, and to pay homage to sacred images. The entire area is remarkably peaceful, shaded, and remains cool throughout the year.
