The Sacred Relics at Suan Dok Temple represent the spiritual heart of Chiang Mai, brought from Sukhothai by the monk Sumana Thera. Legend says that the relics miraculously replicated; one remains enshrined within this golden pagoda, while the other was carried by a white elephant to establish Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. They form a divine link of faith that has blessed the Lanna Kingdom for centuries.
