Originally known by locals as "Wat Krang," Wat Phichai Puranaram is a beautiful and serene temple located within the Uthai Thani municipality. It is distinguished by the architecture of its Ordination Hall (Ubosot), which, while small, features the exquisite proportions typical of the early Rattanakosin period. Inside, it houses sacred Buddha images and delicate murals depicting the life of the Buddha. Furthermore, the temple grounds contain twelve-cornered indented pagodas and ancient wooden structures that vividly reflect the lifestyle and profound faith of the people of Uthai Thani in the past.
