History of the temple

Wat Tham Pha Daen in Sakon Nakhon Province is an ancient temple nestled in the Phu Phan mountain range, boasting a history of over a century. It once served as a meditation retreat for numerous renowned forest monks. Subsequently, Phra Ajarn Pakorn Kantaveero spearheaded restoration efforts and crafted Buddhist art by transforming massive rock formations into exquisite religious sculptures, aiming to attract devotees to engage in meditation and appreciate the surrounding natural beauty, beginning in 2007.
