The interior murals of this vihara are considered artistic gems of the Lanna region. Painted in tempera by Shan artisans of the past, they depict the Jataka tales and the life of Buddha with exquisite detail. A unique feature is the inclusion of local daily life, traditional attire, and social scenes of that era hidden within the scenes. Although softened by time, the refined lines and expressive characters remain clear, serving as a rare and priceless historical record of the North.
