Bueng Na Rang Reservoir features a physical form of a natural oval basin, covering a total area of approximately 517 Rai. Its primary characteristic is an open-water wetland without significant central islands. Geologically, it sits on an alluvial plain formed by the Yom River's sediment deposits, resulting in highly fertile surrounding soil. The reservoir banks have a low gradient, with certain sections reinforced by concrete to prevent erosion. A 6-kilometer ring road encircles the body of water, serving as both a levee and a transportation route.
