Wat Chaeng is one of the oldest historical sites in Uthai Thani, believed to have been built during the late Sukhothai period. Its centerpiece is the remarkably preserved laterite Prang (corn-shaped tower), showcasing the advanced structural engineering and craftsmanship of ancient artisans. The temple also houses a pavilion dedicated to King Taksin the Great, serving as a spiritual landmark that commemorates the historic connection between the great king and the ancient city of Uthai.
