The Fountain of Hand is an iconic bronze sculpture located at the northern end of Heiwa-dori Kaimono Koen (Shopping Park) in Asahikawa. Created by sculptor Reiji Kiuchi in 1972, this large, expressive hand symbolizes the creative power and energy of the city's citizens. It is a major landmark within Japan's first permanent pedestrian mall.
