Historical marker

The historical marker at Udomdechawat Mansion reveals that this French colonial-style building was erected in 1933 by skilled Vietnamese artisans. Initially, it served as the residence of Mr. Khamsing Udomdechawat (Ongde), with the ground floor functioning as a general store and the upper floor housing his family and a dedicated space for Christian religious practices. Today, it stands as a significant historical landmark that showcases the heritage of the Tha Rae community in Sakon Nakhon Province.
