The base of the Ubosot is designed as a "Lotus Base" (Thaana Pat), raised from the ground to enhance its grandeur and protect against moisture. The structure is surrounded by an ambulation passage with large square pillars supporting the eaves, reflecting the stability and strength of applied Thai architecture. The upper portion features a multi-tiered gabled roof that tapers beautifully, creating a majestic and airy appearance when viewed from a distance.
The portals and windows are the focal points of exquisite craftsmanship, featuring the "Ban Thalaeng" or decorative pediment style. The frames are adorned with gilded stucco "Kanok" (flame-like) patterns on a red vermillion background. The doors and windows are made of finely carved wood, depicting floral motifs or celestial beings (Thepphanom). Above the entrances, auspicious symbols are often displayed, signifying the transition from the secular world into the sacred space of the Ubosot.
