The ancient bell-shaped pagoda at Wat Woranat Banphot is one of the most significant archaeological evidences confirming that this area was once part of "Muang Phra Bang" during the Sukhothai period. The pagoda was built in the pure Sukhothai artistic style, featuring an inverted bell shape atop tiered square bases (Lotus Bases). The bell body is well-proportioned, leading up to the throne (Ballangk) and the spire. Despite later restorations, it retains its original architectural silhouette, emphasizing simplicity and elegance. It serves as a historical link, illustrating the influence of Sukhothai Buddhism that spread to the Pak Nam Pho area in ancient times.
