Khum Phra Lo is an ancient teak wood house on stilts located within the grounds of Wat Luang, the oldest temple in Phrae Province. This building has been converted into part of the Wat Luang Museum to preserve and display priceless art and artifacts. The name "Khum Phra Lo" reflects its elegant Lanna-style architecture, reminiscent of the royal residences of the past. The museum houses exhibitions detailing the history of Phrae since its founding by Phraya Phon, featuring highlights such as antique teak Buddha images, ancient weaponry, and monastic requisites of former abbots and Northern Thai nobility.
