Sussahn Trailak Practice Center

Sussahn Trailak, also known as the Trailak Cemetery Practice Center, is one of the most renowned meditation sites in Lampang, located near Pratu Ma in Wiang Nuea. It gained historical significance as the residence and meditation retreat of Luang Phor Kasem Khemako, a revered monk known for his strict asceticism. The name "Sussahn Trailak" reflects the core Buddhist teachings of Anicca, Dukkha, and Anatta (Impermanence, Suffering, and Non-self), which Luang Phor used as a basis for his contemplations within the cemetery's tranquility. The grounds feature the Mondop enshrining his incorruptible body, his humble wooden quarters, and peaceful meditation areas.
