Ku Ma is an ancient bell-shaped stupa in the Hariphunchai style, located northwest of Ku Chang within the Wat Ku Chang-Ku Ma complex in Lamphun. Local legends state that this stupa enshrines the remains of "Ma Pathomphan," the royal steed of King Mahantayot, the eldest son of Queen Jamadevi. The horse was regarded as a loyal companion in battles, playing a vital role in defending the kingdom. The stupa has been preserved alongside Ku Chang as a memorial of gratitude and a symbol of the ancient warriors' bravery.
