The Ginza Sony Park, the metallic structure seen in the center-left background of the image, has been completely transformed into its final form as of early 2025. Following a multi-year reconstruction project, the new building officially celebrated its grand opening on January 26, 2025. Designed as a "vertical park," it stands at approximately 34 meters—about half the height of its neighbors—to maintain a sense of openness at the Sukiyabashi intersection. The concrete and steel structure features five above-ground and four basement levels, serving as a flexible platform for rotating art, music, and technology exhibitions rather than a traditional retail showroom.
