The gateway, or gopura, is located only on the eastern side, constructed of laterite and sandstone. It serves as an entrance to the religious site, adhering to the belief in auspicious directions. Inside, important religious images are enshrined, and above them is a lintel carved with Bayon-style Khmer art, reflecting its role as an "arokayasala," or hospital, in the past.
