Characteristics of ancient humans

Excavations at the ancient city of Non Mueang in Khon Kaen province have revealed prehistoric human skeletons (approximately 2,500 years old). These skeletons exhibited a tall and robust build in comparison to modern humans. Furthermore, their teeth were remarkably complete and strong, suggesting a diet that included grains and other hard substances. Burial practices typically involved placing the deceased in a supine position with legs extended.
