The King Narai the Great Monument, also known as Thep Satri Circle, is the spiritual heart of Lopburi. This monument features a majestic blackened metal statue of the King standing and facing east towards the new city. It was erected to commemorate his significant contributions to Lopburi, particularly for establishing it as the second capital. Every year in February, a grand wreath-laying ceremony and commemorative activities are held in his honor. This site is a key landmark reflecting the prosperity of Siam during an era of extensive international relations.
