Bo Phran Lang Nuea

Bo Phran Lang Nuea is a sacred stone well entwined with the legend of the discovery of the Lord Buddha's Footprint in Saraburi. It is believed to be the spot where the hunter Phran Boon washed his hunted game, leaving distinct knee prints at the well's mouth alongside the nearby Bo Pak Hok or spear-resting hole. The site has since been restored with Chinese-style architectural structures, becoming a prominent sanctuary where Buddhists and Thai-Chinese pilgrims gather to pay respects and collect Sian Chui or holy water for drinking and bathing to bring good fortune. Visiting this site offers a journey through historical trails and deeply rooted spiritual faith that has been preserved in the local community since the Ayutthaya period.
