Bo Phran Lang Nuea is a sacred site directly linked to the discovery of "the Lord Buddha's Footprint" in Saraburi. Legend says that the hunter Phran Boon found the massive footprint on the hillside after witnessing a wounded animal miraculously heal its injuries after drinking and washing in this very pond. At the edge of the stone well, there are indentations believed to be "the Hunter’s Knee Prints" from when he knelt to wash his game, alongside "the Spear-Resting Hole" where he reportedly placed his weapon before reporting this auspicious discovery to King Songtham of Ayutthaya. Today, pilgrims frequently visit this historical site in conjunction with worshipping the main Buddha Footprint at the Mandapa to seek blessings for good fortune and a peaceful life.
