Phra Phutthachai Temple

Phra Phutthachai Temple is an ancient temple of great historical significance, built during the reign of King Songtham of the Ayutthaya period. It is located at the foot of Pathawi Hill in Saraburi Province. The highlight is the "Phra Phutthachai" or the shadow of the Buddha miraculously appearing on a cliff face, along with the "Right Footprint of the Buddha" enshrined on the hilltop, where Buddhists often travel to pay respects for good fortune. The temple's atmosphere is serene, surrounded by the nature of Namtok Sam Lan National Park, and features a hilltop viewpoint that offers a breathtaking panoramic vista of the lush forest and Saraburi city.
