Khao Phu Wai is a limestone mountain home to "Phu Wai Cave," a vast cavern renowned for its stunning, living stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes, such as pagodas and basins. The cave is well-ventilated, with an opening that leads through to the other side of the mountain. A key highlight is the nature trail that leads to the "Khao Phu Wai Peak," a viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of the lush forests and rolling hills of Ban Rai district. Additionally, the surrounding area features a rare and fertile natural rattan forest, which is increasingly hard to find elsewhere.
