Situated along the banks of the Katsura River, the park offers a peaceful atmosphere with stone monuments, a statue of the "Chigo Daishi" (the child version of the monk), and views of the iconic bamboo forest path nearby. While the original Tokko-no-yu bath in the river is now for viewing only, the park features a modern foot bath (ashiyu) called "River Terrace Sugi-no-yu." Visitors can soak their feet for free while enjoying the sound of the river and the surrounding traditional Japanese architecture, which is beautifully lit up at night.
