One of the architectural signatures of Wichai Prasit Fort is its "Double Octagonal Walls", built parallel to each other for maximum strength. The outer wall served as the first line of defense against impact, while the inner wall provided additional stability and housed circular towers. The space between these two walls served as a walkway, allowing soldiers to move personnel and transport weapons quickly and safely. This architectural design reflects the military science of the past, blending Western and Eastern expertise into a formidable defense system.
