These Yatagarasu Omikuji from Kawagoe Kumano Shrine are ceramic figures containing hidden paper fortunes. The black crow represents the traditional color of this divine messenger. The gold (or yellow) version symbolizes the sun, as Yatagarasu is considered its incarnation. Together, they guide visitors toward success and "invite luck," as noted on the red "Kaun Shofuku" sign.
