Bordering the main walkway on both sides is the Ashifumi (Foot-Washing) path, featuring dark pebble strips set beside the central pavement for visitors to walk on barefoot to stimulate pressure points. In the center stands a secondary stone Torii gate, acting as a spiritual threshold. Passing through this gate signifies entering the inner sanctum where the deities reside.
