Khao Lak Shrine is an important spiritual landmark for the people of Phang Nga Province, particularly those living and working in the Khao Lak area and nearby districts. According to local belief, Chao Pho Khao Lak is a guardian spirit who protects the area and ensures the safety of travelers passing through the winding roads around the hill. • By Car: The shrine is located along Phetkasem Road (Highway No. 4) between Thai Mueang and Takua Pa districts. When driving from Phuket toward Khao Lak, the shrine will appear on the left side of the road along the curve of Khao Lak Hill, with parking available nearby.

• By Public Transport: Buses and vans running on the Phuket–Takua Pa or Phuket–Ranong routes pass directly by the shrine, and visitors can get off near the entrance.

• The best times to visit are early morning, when the weather is cooler, or late afternoon before sunset for beautiful sea views.

• Recommended activities include paying respects to Chao Pho Khao Lak, drawing fortune sticks, and taking photos of the surrounding scenery.

• Since this is a sacred site, visitors should dress respectfully and remain quiet while visiting.
