Pak Meng Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Trang Province, characterized by its long crescent shoreline facing the Andaman Sea. The beach is peaceful, scenic, and lined with tall pine trees along the road, making it ideal for relaxing, strolling, or exercising in the morning and evening.

What makes Pak Meng Beach especially important is that it is home to Pak Meng Pier, considered the gateway to Trang’s marine attractions. Most travelers begin their island-hopping or “4 Islands Tour” (Emerald Cave, Kradan Island, Chuak Island, Waen Island) from this pier. The surrounding area is filled with tour companies and fresh seafood restaurants.

The beach is also known for its distinctive seascape, with uniquely shaped islands visible from the shore—such as Koh Ma, which resembles a resting horse when viewed from the beach—making it a popular spot for photography.

During the evening, Pak Meng Beach becomes one of Trang’s most romantic sunset viewpoints. The sky gradually transforms into shades of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting across the calm sea surface like a painted canvas, making it a favorite location for couples and travelers.

• Private Car: From Trang town, take Highway 4046 toward Sikao District, then continue on Highway 4162 (Trang–Sikao–Pak Meng). Total distance: around 40–45 km.

• Public Transport: Air-conditioned vans (Trang–Pak Meng route) are available at Trang Bus Terminal and Trang Railway Station—an easy and economical option.

• Ideal for beach walks, sunset watching, and enjoying fresh seafood.

• If planning island tours, arrive at Pak Meng Pier in the morning (around 9:00–10:30 AM).

• Various accommodations are available along the beach, convenient for morning departures.
