“A two–storey wooden heritage house over a century old, featuring realisticwaxfiguresof the governor and original household items preserved inside.”

Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi Museum was originally the residence of the Governor of Trang, serving as the home of PhrayaRatsadanupraditMahisonPhakdi(KorSimBiNaRanong), who is widely honored for his major contributions to the development of Trang—particularly his role in introducing the first rubber tree to Thailand. The building is a two–storey wooden house representing local architectural style, simple yet highly valuable in terms of historical significance.

Inside, the museum displays detailed presentations of his biography, administrative work, economic initiatives, and major developments he established in Trang. One of the museum’s most remarkable features is the display of a life-sized waxfigure of Phraya Ratsadanupradit seated at his work desk, accompanied by authentic household items arranged in their original historical context—allowing visitors to feel as if they have stepped back in time to the era when he was still actively serving as governor.

The museum is maintained in collaboration with Kantang Pittayakorn School, ensuring that both the building and its historical artifacts are well preserved. Today, it stands as one of the most important historical attractions in Kantang District and is conveniently located near other heritage sites such as the Kantang Railway Station and the first rubber tree of Thailand.
