“Displaying a variety of aquatic animals, both freshwater and saltwater, including seal shows and ecosystem learning areas such as the mangrove nature trail.”
Rajamangala Aquarium Trang was established as a research and educational center for aquatic resources, supporting conservation and restoration of local marine life. The area is divided into several sections, presenting the diversity of freshwater, marine, and mangrove ecosystems through easy-to-understand exhibitions suitable for all ages.
Indoor Aquarium Exhibition:
The main building contains over 60 display tanks, each designed to realistically recreate natural aquatic habitats. The exhibition features species found in the Trang Sea as well as from around the world, such as
- Clownfish and sea anemones
- Starfish
- Electric eels
- Boxfish
- Rare species and colorful marine fish
Visitors can learn about marine biology closely with informative descriptions provided throughout the area.
Seal Show:
One of the key highlights is the seal performance, where intelligent seals entertain and impress visitors with various fun tricks and interactions.
Outdoor Exhibitions:
The outdoor area includes large open-air animal pools such as the sea turtle pool, shark tank, as well as a Mini Zoo and a large aviary—perfect for a relaxing walk-through experience.
Mangrove Walkway:
A wooden boardwalk stretching through the university’s mangrove forest gives visitors the opportunity to explore and learn about coastal ecosystems while experiencing nature up close.
A single admission ticket grants access to all zones, making this site an ideal educational destination for families, students, and nature lovers.
