Kham Island  is a small private island located a short distance from Koh Mak in Province Trat. It is a place that still maintains its perfect natural purity. As soon as you arrive, you will be welcomed by sea water so clear that you can see the fish and coral reefs below. The beach sand here is clean, white, and as soft as powder. The most unique highlight that is hard to find elsewhere is the group of black volcanic rocks scattered along the beach and in the water. These rocks are deep black, contrasting sharply with the white sand and blue sea. This creates a strange and charming image that is specific to Koh Kham. These rocks tell the long geological history of the area and are a popular spot for tourists to sit and take photos to capture a one-of-a-kind memory.

The most popular activities on the island are kayaking and snorkeling to see the coral reefs around the island. You can easily find staghorn corals and colorful schools of fish right from the beach. Even though it is a small island, it is excellently maintained and clean, so there are no issues with trash or pollution. • Speedboat from Koh Mak: You can buy boat tickets from counters at Ao Nid Pier or at various resorts on Koh Mak. The journey takes only 10-15 minutes.

• Longtail Boat: You can charter a boat from the pier in front of the village or at Ao Khao to go directly to Koh Kham.

• Traveling to Trat: Take a bus or drive a private car to Laem Ngop Pier (Krom Luang Chumphon Pier) to take a speedboat to Koh Mak first.

• Best Time to Visit: From November to April, as the sea is calm, the water is at its clearest, and there are no storms.

• Preparation: You should prepare "Reef Safe" sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

• Photography: We recommend the time between 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM, when the sea color is most beautiful and the sunlight hits the white sand clearly.

• Caution: There is no overnight accommodation on Koh Kham; it is a day-trip destination only.
