“Pha Lat Waterfall is easily accessible, next to the main road after the checkpoint, with a wide rocky area, shallow clear water, perfect for relaxing, picnics, and safe for children.”

Pha Lat Waterfall, also known as Pha Lat, is the first waterfall that welcomes visitors, about 200 meters from the park entrance checkpoint, located in front of the park office.

The waterfall features a gently sloping rock sheet approximately 25 meters wide. Water from Lan Sang Creek spreads thinly over the rock before flowing into a shallow pool.

The surrounding area is shaded by mixed deciduous forest. The nearby wide rock area is ideal for resting and picnicking. (For camping, visitors should contact the park service center for details.)

Pha Lat Waterfall is a great starting point for those exploring deeper into the park, such as visiting Lan Sang Waterfall (2nd tier) or other waterfalls.

Across the road, visitors can explore the herbal garden, which showcases various herbs from Lan Sang forest with descriptions and categorized uses for study.

Activities

  • Relaxation and picnic: Rest, enjoy fresh air, and have a picnic on the wide rock area.

  • Photography: The wide rock and flowing clear water provide beautiful and relaxing photo spots.
