“A multi-tiered waterfall with clear pools and rocky areas where you can enjoy swimming, surrounded by the lush, shady forest.”

Nang Rong Waterfall  (Nang Rong Waterfall) is a highly popular part of Khao Yai National Park among tourists. It is a medium-sized waterfall formed by water flowing down from the high mountains, passing through various rocks and crevices, creating several small, distinct waterfall tiers. The most accessible and swimmable tier is the bottom area, which has a wide and shallow pool.

The charm of Nang Rong Waterfall is its shady environment. Both sides of the stream are covered with lush green forest, and the area is managed so that visitors can sit and relax or lay down mats to eat conveniently. The cascading water is not too strong, making it a relatively safe place for children and families to swim. It is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle and experience the genuine cool comfort of nature.

The most beautiful time for the waterfall, when the water volume is at its peak, is during the rainy season (June - October), but it can be visited all year round. During the dry season (February - April), the water volume may decrease slightly but remains clear and cool. If visiting on a holiday, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a suitable seating area by the water.

In addition to swimming, the waterfall area also offers short nature trails for walking and observing the flora and fauna in the Khao Yai forest ecosystem. It serves as an excellent place for outdoor learning for children and provides a gorgeous natural backdrop for portrait and landscape photography.
