Suan Sampran is a cultural and organic agricultural tourist attraction with a strong focus on sustainability. It is developed as an integrated space that combines tourism, learning, and an organic lifestyle in a systematic way. Rather than being just a recreational destination, it serves as a model of an “organic community” that connects the entire process from food production to consumption.
Inside the area is “Patom Organic Farm,” a model organic farm that grows vegetables, fruits, and herbs without the use of any chemicals, while emphasizing natural soil fertility. This farm is not a display farm but a real production area that supplies ingredients to restaurants and cafés within the project.
Another key highlight is “Patom Village,” a learning center where visitors can participate in hands-on activities such as herbal inhaler making, clay molding, natural fabric dyeing, and traditional Thai cooking. Each activity is designed to provide experiential learning rather than passive observation.
The project also features a boat crossing system over the river that connects the main area with the farm. This reduces car usage and creates a slow-living travel experience, allowing visitors to clearly feel the contrast between each zone’s atmosphere.
Another important attraction is “Sookjai Market,” an organic marketplace that gathers products from real farmers across Thailand. It follows a “farmers sell directly” concept to reduce middlemen and ensure transparency of food sources. The market is open only on Saturdays and Sundays and is one of the main highlights of Suan Sampran.
In addition, there are Patom Organic Café and riverside restaurants that primarily use ingredients from within the project. They focus on healthy Thai and contemporary cuisine in a natural riverside setting along the Tha Chin River, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
For accommodation, Suan Sampran offers a resort designed to blend with nature, emphasizing greenery and tranquility. It is suitable for both relaxation and wellness activities such as yoga and workshops.
Overall, Suan Sampran is developed as a complete sustainable living ecosystem that integrates food production, learning, tourism, and consumption. It is not just a tourist attraction but a place that truly reflects a way of living in harmony with nature.
