In its permanent exhibitions, the Bernese Historical Museum shows highlights from the fields of history, prehistory and early history, and ethnography. The presented pieces from the Stone Age to the present, and come from cultures of all continents.
The integrated Einstein Museum presents the life and work of the physicist in the context of world history. Animated films and experiments illustrate the pioneering theories of genius.
In exchange innovative exhibition hall, temporary shows are shown on an area of 1,200 square meters, which deal in rotation with cultural, historical, ethnographic or prehistoric themes.
The Burgundian tapestries depicting King diptych, the hydria Grächwil, but also a number of ethnographic and numismatic enjoy world-class. The Bernese Historical Museum presents its collections on diverse and multimedia technologies on display.
An audio guide in nine languages and induction headphones and a video guide for deaf and hearing impaired, make the Einstein Museum to a wider audience.
