Why Mae Haad is Special
Mae Haad Beach is a destination that combines three important experiences in one place: walking the sandbar, snorkeling the coral reefs, and watching the sunset, allowing you to complete your trip in a single location.

• Car/Motorbike: From Thong Sala Pier, head north past Sri Thanu and Chao Phao Beach. The distance is about 15 km, taking approximately 25–30 minutes. The road is paved all the way.

• Check the tide times to see the sandbar clearly.

• Beware of coral fragments or sharp rocks; wear water shoes.

• Snorkeling equipment is available for rent on the beach (approximately 50–100 Baht).

• Best time for snorkeling is 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, clear water and good light.

• Recommend arriving at 5:30 PM for the best sunset view.
