“A sheep farm with a nice atmosphere on the Khao Yai road, where you can experience the cuteness of the little sheep up close, as well as feed and milk them. It is a suitable resting point for families.”

Sheep Land Khao Yai is a nature-based tourist farm designed to be a perfect rest stop and photo destination on the way to Khao Yai. The project began with the idea of recreating the warm and charming atmosphere of a European-style farm in the mountainous and cool climate of Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

Concept and Design

  • English Countryside Architecture: The farm emphasizes white and pastel-colored wooden architecture, including a barn and a large model windmill, providing a beautiful backdrop for photography. The interior is meticulously landscaped with flower gardens and open green spaces, making visitors feel as if they are strolling through a European countryside farm.

  • Purpose: This farm is not just a large livestock farm but also an edutainment farm focused on providing basic knowledge about animals and sheep products, along with family fun.

Key Activities and Experiences

Beyond photography, key attractions include

  • Sheep Interaction: Visitors can get up close and personal with a herd of various breeds of fluffy sheep, including Barbados Blackbelly and Assaf sheep, which have been trained to be friendly and accustomed to humans. Visitors can purchase bottles of milk or grass to feed the sheep, a memorable experience for children.

  • Pony and Other Animals: In addition to sheep, the farm also offers other adorable pets, such as compact and tame ponies, which are available for petting and photographing.

  • Coffee Shop and Souvenir Shop: There is a shop selling sheep-related products such as bread, milk, and wool products, as well as local organic agricultural products.

Sheepland Khao Yai offers a relaxing experience amidst the mountain atmosphere. Visitors can spend approximately 1.5-2 hours exploring the farm, feeding the animals, capturing beautiful photos, and relaxing with a cup of coffee before continuing on to Khao Yai National Park or other nearby attractions.

How to Get There
  • Located on Thanarat Road (Khao Yai entrance) at kilometer marker 4. If traveling from Bangkok towards Nakhon Ratchasima Province, take Thanarat Road straight towards Khao Yai. Look for the sign and large sheep statue in front.
