“This waterfall offers an exceptionally tranquil and natural experience, perfect for relaxation in close proximity to the mountains and wilderness, featuring a challenging yet rewarding nature trail.”

Kha On Waterfall is a significant natural attraction in Bang Saphan district, located in the preparation area for inclusion as part of Huai Yang Waterfall National Park. The stream originates from the Tenasserim Range, cascading beautifully down approximately 9 distinct tiers. The lowest tier is the most accessible and is popular for picnics and swimming. The unique feature here is the absolute purity of the water, which is crystal clear and cool throughout the year. The surrounding area is covered by a lush evergreen forest, ensuring a shady and pleasant atmosphere all day long.

The outstanding uniqueness of this waterfall is the truly preserved, pristine condition of its natural forest. Along the trail leading to the various tiers, visitors will encounter diverse flora and small wildlife, such as butterflies and rare birds. The climb to the higher tiers requires some effort, but it is rewarded with views of each waterfall section being distinct; some have large, deep pools perfect for swimming, while others are simply streams flowing over rocks, offering a sense of quiet privacy.

The best time to visit is outside the monsoon season, especially during the late rainy/early cool season (approximately November to January), when the water volume is moderate and the weather is not excessively hot. The area around Kha On Waterfall is also a spot used by local residents for recreation, making it possible to experience the simple and friendly way of life of the local people. The main activities include swimming, picnicking, and exploring the surrounding nature along the lower tiers. The atmosphere here is one of profound tranquility, ideal for those seeking an escape from urban bustle.

Kha On Waterfall is highly appealing to Nature Photographers looking to capture the richness of the evergreen forest, the moss-covered rocks, and the movement of water as it flows down the stone tiers. For couples or those seeking an artistic retreat, this location offers deep inspiration and a sense of calm, with elements of light and shadow filtering through the foliage and the sound of the water aiding in contemplation and relaxation.

We invite everyone to experience the charm of Kha On Waterfall in Bang Saphan district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, which is a genuine jewel of the forest, still pristine and awaiting your discovery and appreciation of its true beauty.
