“Excellent oyster farm in Ban Don Bay, 360-degree sea view with cockle harvesting, mangrove planting, and fresh seafood activities on a floating hut.”

Sinmana Farmstay is a famous marine agricultural tourism destination in Surat Thani Province. Located in Ban Don Bay, it is developed into a mid-sea farm stay in the form of a "Khnam", a wooden house raised above the water, that combines the traditional way of life of fishermen with eco-tourism in a perfect way. Tourists will experience the simplicity, tranquility, and nature of the Gulf of Thailand up close.

This area is considered an important oyster and cockle farming area of Ban Don Bay. With a rich brackish water ecosystem and a large number of natural plankton, the oysters are of high quality, firm, sweet, and have a unique sea smell, which is the identity of the famous Surat Thani oysters.

Tourists can join the Farm Tour to see the rows of oyster cages in the middle of the sea and listen to explanations about sustainable and environmentally friendly oyster farming systems, including the management of farms by local fishermen.

The main highlight is the close-up experience of the fishing lifestyle, whether it's oyster farming demonstration, cockle harvesting, and fresh oyster shucking, which can be tasted immediately after opening the shell. Served with local side dishes such as acacia shoots, fried shallots, and spicy seafood sauce, creating a Farm to Table experience fresh from the sea.

There are also environmental activities such as mangrove planting to restore the coastal ecosystem, which is a nursery for juvenile aquatic animals and helps reduce coastal erosion. At the same time, it provides knowledge about the life cycle of aquatic animals and the sustainable conservation of marine resources.

The surrounding atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. Both the 360-degree sea view from the floating hut, the sea breeze throughout the day, and the wide-angle sunrise and sunset views make this place a destination that caters to nature lovers, foodies, and learners in one place.
