“A wide limestone waterfall, easily accessible by the main road, with shallow pools safe for children, and a rest stop offering delicious local cuisine by the stream.”
Vibhavadi Waterfall, also known as Ban Nai Waterfall, is located at the foot of the Ban Nai canal bridge, along Surat Thani–Nakhon Si Thammarat Road (Highway 401), approximately 40 kilometers from Surat Thani city. It is a natural attraction that blends beauty and convenience perfectly, and is a popular stop for travelers heading south.
Nature by the Highway:
This waterfall is small and not very steep, but stands out with its wide stream that cascades down low but wide limestone terraces, creating a beautiful and unique curtain of water. There is also a wide pool that is suitable for swimming. The surrounding atmosphere is a shady forest park near the community, full of large trees that provide coolness throughout the day.
Popular Activities:
Due to the shallow and non-slippery water, the main activities are swimming, soaking to cool off, riding inner tubes, and having picnics by the waterfall. The area offers inner tubes, paddle boats, and bicycles for rent to add fun to your relaxation. You can also sit around and enjoy meals by the stream.
Atmosphere and Local Life:
As a waterfall located near the community and easily accessible, it is popular among locals, especially during weekends. Families and groups of friends come to relax, swim, and have meals together. On weekdays, it is quiet and suitable for private relaxation.
Premium Convenience:
A key feature is the ease of access. You can park your car and walk down to swim immediately. The area has many restaurants, especially Isan food such as Som Tum (papaya salad) and grilled chicken, as well as drinks and snacks, along with toilets, parking, and full facilities, making it not just a natural waterfall but a complete rest stop for travelers.

- By Car: Drive along Highway 401 (Surat Thani–Nakhon Si Thammarat route) towards Don Sak district. The waterfall will be on the left-hand side (if coming from Surat Thani city) in Ban Nai area. Look for large signs and many parked cars.
