Kuang Si Waterfall or Kuang Xi Watefall is a beautiful limestone fall, located in the Kuang Si Waterfall National Park, 29 kms away from Luang Prabang city.

It is 75 meters in high, with 4 levels. You can walk along or swim in an arranged area.  The stream is as green as an emerald. The surrounding atmosphere is shady. The air is cool and full of trees. During the rainy season, the water flows so hard that it sometimes splashes.

Near the waterfall, there are restaurants and souvenir shops selling various types of local products. There is also a bear conservation area.

Admission fee of 25,000 kip to visit the site. Most of the pools are open to swimming (although at least one is closed as being a sacred site).
