“Distinctive as a source of world-class wine production in the tropics with diverse enjoyable activities, including wine tasting and dining in a gorgeous vineyard setting.”
Monsoon Valley Vineyard formerly known as Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is one of the largest and most famous vineyards in Thailand. Established by Siam Winery, it is located approximately 45 kilometers west of Hua Hin town. This vineyard is situated in a valley area, providing the right climate and soil conditions for growing grapes suitable for winemaking, despite being in the tropics. It is the origin of premium Thai wines that have won numerous international awards under the name "Monsoon Valley." The surrounding atmosphere is embraced by nature and lush green vineyards, creating a feeling of traveling in Europe.
The significant uniqueness of this vineyard is its role as a model of success for "New Latitude Wine" production, demonstrating that high-quality grape varieties like Shiraz, Colombard, and Sangiovese can be successfully grown in the Thai climate. The centerpiece is The Sala restaurant, which features an open architectural design offering panoramic views of the vineyard. The food menu focuses on pairing (Pairing) with the wines produced on-site to perfectly enhance the flavors of both the food and the wine. The vineyard also offers agro-tourism activities, providing tourists with the opportunity to learn about the winemaking process from start to finish.
The vineyard is open for visits and activities all year round, with each season offering different beauty. A popular activity is Wine Tasting, which features a variety of the vineyard's wines, accompanied by advice from experts. Additionally, tourists can choose to ride elephants or take a jeep tour around the large vineyard. The overall atmosphere is relaxing, upscale, yet welcoming, perfect for an afternoon retreat. Visiting during the harvest season (approximately February to March) allows guests to observe the work in the vineyard up close, making it a particularly lively time.
Monsoon Valley Vineyard is an attractive destination for couples and tourists seeking a romantic setting, thanks to its beautiful scenery and atmosphere-setting wine-tasting activities. Photographers enjoy capturing the vineyards stretching across the hills, especially during the sunset hour. The decor of the restaurant and the landscape emphasizes a modern and natural aesthetic, providing many beautiful photo spots. In addition to wine, products made from grapes and souvenirs such as grape juice and jam are available for purchase.
We invite everyone to experience the wonder of Monsoon Valley Vineyard, where you can enjoy sipping world-class Thai wine amidst vineyard views as beautiful as anywhere in the world, and savor exquisite cuisine in an atmosphere of delight.
