“This site features limestone mountains aged 250–280 million years, forming a giant stone labyrinth that fascinates visitors. Hikers can explore caves, rock shelters, and giant cycads that are hundreds of years old.”
Suang Hin Phangam was naturally formed from limestone mountains, which geologists estimate to be around 250–280 million years old. Originally, this area was a coastal sea where sediment accumulated, including coral fragments, shells, and other marine life remains, eventually forming unique limestone mountains.
The park showcases natural stone sculptures in various shapes along winding paths. Visitors navigate trails that sometimes require light climbing or crawling through rock shelters and caves, making the experience both exciting and adventurous.
Along the trail, visitors can encounter rare plants, especially giant cycads that can live for hundreds of years, making them iconic photo spots and symbols of natural abundance.
